Growth and Transition: Life is in Full Force for Dani Sue Dreams!

You may have noticed that I've changed some things around. I started this blog in 2012, shortly after my daughter was born. It started out as mommy review/craft/recipe blog and it's been a great journey. This little adventure in the mommy blogosphere has certainly helped me grow as a parent, a blogger, and personally...and I am so grateful.

It's now February 2015 and I am due with baby girl #2 any day now! In the past 2 years, my husband has started a successful, brick and mortar retail shop in Fort Collins. Colorado Vapors - Northern Colorado's Premier E-Cigarette Shop is growing strong and helping people in the community quit smoking. I'm proud of Shane, and proud to be part of local commerce. Very soon we will be unvailing our online retail shop and blog. Stay in touch with us on Facebook.

Colorado Vapors in the news!
I'm also super excited to be a founding member of an amazing new 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Northern Colorado. Allied Women Entrepreneurs was founded by 5 local, entrepreneurial mamas (myself included). We hail from various industries and bring with us a passion to empower women in our community to reach their entrepreneurial goals and potential. I'll be talking about this more in the very near future. In the mean time, you can follow us on Facebook to stay up to date with what we're doing.

How AWEsome are these business cards?!
So what's in store for Dani Sue Dreams? Well, you'll see that I've changed the title a little. It's now Dani Sue Dreams in the Front Range - A Northern Colorado Blog. I will still be reviewing products that are useful for all us mamas, but they will be from local Front Range businesses. I will still keep sharing my recipes and DIY crafts...as I have time...I'll be figuring out how all you moms with more than 1 kiddo balance life! I'll be focusing on community events and happenings in the Northern Colorado Front Range, and I'll be posting about topics that relate to parents, but with a focus on topics unique to Colorado. I hope you'll continue following my blog on its new adventure!

Young Ancients
Fusing three remarkable musicians’ signature styles, Young Ancients’ sound features rich vocal harmonies and unexpected instrumentation—soulful accordion, maverick percussion, and deft fingerstyle guitar. This alchemical collaboration combines an acoustic earthiness, brilliant musicianship, and a dynamic, ragged edge—a singular feat of seasoned musicians in the prime of their creative power. - Young Ancients

FIT4MOM Front Range

FIT4MOM started in 2001 with Stroller Strides. Lisa Druxman wanted to exercise, have fun with her baby, and meet other moms. Since it's inception, over 1300 locations have been opened nationwide. With this success, FIT4MOM has released Fit4Baby, a prenatal fitness class, and Body Back, a workout program for any stage of motherhood. FIT4MOM Front Range services many areas in the Northern Colorado Front Range area, including Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Boulder.

Darcy Peters, owner of FIT4MOM Front Range, resigned her commission as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps in 2012 to spend more time with her growing family. She and her husband, Joel, adore Cora, almost 3-years-old, and Benson, 16-months-old. They moved to Northern Colorado in 2012, and quickly settled into the happy, laid-back lifestyle of the state.

Darcy is passionate about being a mom, bringing moms together in support of one another, and teaching children that fitness is an exciting part of life. Her mission is to make FIT4MOM Front Range classes as accessible as possible to all moms, and making health and fitness an enjoyable part of life.
